Huge congratulations to Spirotech Director Russell Gadsby and his team mates Rebecca, Olivia and Jessica who all competed in the 10k Race for Life held at Stamford’s Burghley House on 2nd June 2024. Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life is the UK’s largest charity mass participation event and hundreds of men, women and children of all ages and abilities turned out to take part in the fundraising by running one of the 3k, 5k, 10k or ‘Pretty Muddy’ races.
The power to transform and save lives
More than 10m people have taken part in Race for Life events since the fundraising initiative began in 1994. In that time, over £970m has been raised to help fund cutting-edge research to help defeat 200 types of cancer including: bowel cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer, lung cancer, testicular cancer, brain cancer, children’s cancers and leukaemia.
Over £2,500 raised
Russell, Rebecca, Olivia and Jessica all successfully completed the 10k course on a very hot day and raised over £2,500 for Cancer Research UK so a big thank you to everyone who kindly donated to this great organisation.
