Sawtry Walk to Run would like to say a very big thank you to Spirotech, for once again supporting our 10 mile road race.
The Sawtry 10 started 3 years ago and every year Spirotech have generously sponsored our event.
This year we had 284 people finish the race. Our male winner, Dave Hudson from Hunts AC, finished in a time of 54:14 and our female winner, Kanina O’Neil from March AC, in a time of 1:06:38. Our race forms part of many clubs club championships and is part of the Cambs Road League too.
Our event though is not just about the elite runner. With a generous 2 hour 30 mins to finish, with the option of starting 15 mins early, it really is open to everyone.
Spirotech’s continued support really appreciated
We are quite a small club who are so proud of the Sawtry 10, the number or participants we get and the fabulous feedback we receive. Without the continued support we have received from Spirotech, we would not be able to offer the running experience the competitors have become accustomed to.
Spirotech have been established in Sawtry for many years and their continued support really does emphasis their community spirit.
