Spirotech recently designed, built and delivered a 60.000 litre insulated stainless steel energy recovery vessel for a major UK dairy.
The client required that the energy recovery vessel was designed and built to PD5500 to ensure complete operational peace of mind, and that the tank was insulated at Spirotech’s works prior to loading and delivering the unit.
Negating risk of damage
In order to do this the team designed the build sequence to take into account the support cradles that would allow the thermal insulation to be added without the risk of damage when it was being loaded and offloaded and lifted into position. This saved the client a considerable amount of money and time.
Designed, built and delivered by Spirotech
The energy recovery vessel was designed and built in our Sawtry works and Spirotech’s installation team then oversaw the loading, delivery and installation on the site. The vessel is in position and ready for Spirotech’s client to integrate into its own system.
