Keith retires after 31 years of dedication

Deserving a well earned retirement following years of dedicated service at Spirotech, Keith Talbutt is looking forward to relaxing and catching up with some of his favourites hobbies.

Keith Talbutt - Spirotech

In his own words Keith speaks about his role at Spirotech:

Throughout a period of approximately 12 years I was a customer of Spirotech and regularly purchased screw flight segments and complete screw assemblies on behalf of the two companies I worked for through that time; eventually I was approached by the then owner of Spirotech (John Owen, who sadly passed away in December 2022) and I joined the company as an employee in November 1991.

It was the quality of their finished products that attracted me to join the company, so many of the customers involved through those 12 years were extremely impressed by the quality of the goods supplied, albeit they were obviously unaware of where they had been sourced from.

In 31 years I have witnessed many changes and take a great deal of personal pride in my part in the development of the company, and the vast improvements and investments made in production machinery over the years by the current owners which have brought the company to where it is today, with an increasing international market presence and a world renown for quality, not only in machine supply, but also now with plant systems.

It has been an absolute pleasure working for Spirotech and I have made so many valued friendships, it was very difficult for me to walk away and finally retire.”

And Spirotech Director Ben Morgan also adds how much the company will miss Keith:

It saddens us to officially announce the retirement of Keith as he has been an integral part of Spirotech SRD Group Ltd over the last 31 years!

Keith’s contributions to the business will always be valued and remembered for many years to come. During his time with Spirotech Keith has been responsible for Screw Conveyor Sales working on projects all over the world and has worked with many high profile companies and secured numerous significant orders to help achieve strong growth and success for the company and has always been an integral part of the team! Keith’s hard work, commitment, and dedication are worthy of admiration and he will be greatly missed by all who have worked with him.

On behalf of every one at Spirotech, I would like to wish Keith the best of luck for the future and a happy and long retirement!”
