Spirotech has successfully interpreted the latest requirement from a client request for 2 x reactor pressure vessels, offering a gross volume of 11.5m3 with a limpet coil design heating/cooling jacket.
In order to ensure that the reactors contents remained a constant temperature during operation the outer shell and bottom head were designed to house calcium silicate insulation with additional cladding.
The manufacture, from a mixture of T316L, 904L and Duplex, ensured the vessels would be as corrosion resistant as possible. The 2 reactor vessels process is classified but they were manufactured to PD5500: 2024 Cat 2 with PESR category IV Module G compliance.
For ease of facilitation by our client to switch between different processes for multiple product production, the introduction of load cell controlled dosing and chemical additions through various ports along with agitation (by others) and control, allows for maximum flexibility.
