For the second year running the generous souls at Spirotech-SRD once again donned pink to show their support for the national ‘Wear it Pink’ campaign.
Spirotech-SRD once again donned pink to show their support for the national ‘Wear it Pink’ campaign
‘Wear it Pink’ is a special day in the October calendar which helps to raise awareness of breast cancer for all the men and women across the world fighting and supporting breast cancer.
100 pink balloons
Katie Wood, Spirotech’s Finance Manager who orchestrates the team event, also arranged for 100 pink balloons for people to purchase and donate a loved one’s name to. The balloons were released in unison by the Spirotech team and made a beautiful sight as they flew up and over Spirotech’s HQ and far away across the blue sky.
So far we’ve raised £304 for this great cause and if any other people reading this would like to show their support they can donate directly at breastcancernow.org.
‘Wear it Pink’ has been going for almost 15 years and every year people up and down the country hold pink-themed events at work, school or home in support of its life-saving research, working to discover how to prevent breast cancer, how to detect it earlier and how to treat it effectively at every stage.
